5 Color Trends we’ll see everywhere this spring!
Spring is (almost) around the corner and it’s time to start planning for the season accordingly. All major designers presented their collections months ago giving us a taste for what’s coming and setting the path for the rest.
Spring may be the season of color but which colors will dominate our wardrobes? We have already seen street style looks featuring all the key color trends for the next months. From Pantone’s color of the Year, Classic Blue, to minimalistic white outfits I have gathered five colors that will become a staple in every outing.
1 . White (and ivory)
Minimalism is going to be big in 2020 starting from spring. We saw a lot of white outfits featured in the runways and the streets of all the major fashion capitals, from Milan to New York.

Of course, along with all the white we saw lots of ivory and all the shades in between. Just keep it simple and elegant.
2. Classic Blue
We knew we were going to see a lot of it since Pantone announced it as Color of the Year for 2020. In just a couple of months we have seen more and more influencers rocking the newest color trend.
3. Green
Ever since I dyed my hair ginger/red green has become one of my favorite colors! From knits to skirts I just LOVE IT! Green has played a big role in color trends over the seasons in various shades. This year’s shade is called Sage Green.
The good thing is that I’m already seeing this particular shades in stores which means you don’t have to wait until spring to buy your favorite pieces.
4. Lilac
After seeing a lot of purple this winter it’s time to move to a lighter version. Lilac is an amazing color I’m deing to try. I confess I have never worn purple even though it’s on my fashion radar since autumn. This spring I’m definitely investing in lilac.

Bonus point: Even though I’m planning on writing a whole post about color blocking and color combinations you should definitely try combining lilac with green for an interesting outfit.
5. Orange
Yeah, you read that right. Orange dominated the Spring/Summer collection and you will see it being worn more and more during the next few months!
Now I will be totally honest here and say that orange as a color scares me, always has always will. I do admire all the woman out there who make it work and they look fabulous wearing it but I’m not sure how to incorporate it into my outfits.
On the other hand, maybe it is time to get over my fears and start experimenting with it!
I wanted to say that about orange because we all have colors we never wear but maybe it’s time to change that. You don’t have to jump right in. Start small; accessories are your best friends when it comes to colors you want to incorporate in a subtle way.
Get ready to welcome spring in the most stylish way with the latest color trends.
